basically she's for sale in 2 forms you can either come and take her as is with all the parts to put her back together for £500 or can wait a couple of months till i've got her back on the road for £1000
it's a 1978 vauxhall chevette L saloon with a 1300 escort xflow engine in and i have loads of bits like brand new spot lights brand new rear axle in 2 weeks i'll have the brand new hand made coil springs back, i still have the old axle with the welded diff if it's wanted and i have a 1256 engine in my shed in bits which i was going to rebuild to put back in her, currently doesn't have any tax or mot,
like i said you can come and pick it up as is for £500 or wait till i've got it all back together and through a mot and got it taxed and can have it with all the same stuff for £1000.
i also have a set of 4 part warn michellin slicks (225/55/13)which i'll sell for £20 a tyre as thats what i bought them for and never used them.
the car has 2 reclining bucket seats with harness's aswell.
i've put alot of time and money into this car since i bought it mainly fixing the person who i bought it off mess ups, and i will be sad to see her go but i can't physically afford to fix it and sort all the insurence and stuff out aswell
plus my mrs is banging on at me about getting a sensible family car because she sold her pug and wants me to buy something sensible instead lol.
i am open to offers but only serious offers of very near to asking price. if there is any interest please let me know via either this thread or by p.m and we can discuss whats wanted to be done eg i get her on the road or you come and collect with a hiab lorry and rebuild her yourself,
i think £500 for project or £1000 for running car is not asking to much considering i paid £1200 for it and was shafted i feel because the poor old thing has been bodged all over the place which i have slowly put right again .
again will be sad to see her go and i want her to go to a good home.#
