Hi all, just joined after hugely enjoying the Facebook postings. I'm a big fan of anything old and on wheels, from cars to traction engines and try to surround myself with various mechanical jalopies as often as possible. My daily transport is a battered £500 French baguette mobile (Citroen C15 diesel) which dates from 2001 but feels and drives like it is at least 20 years older.
I also have an ancient Land Rover which looks every one of it's sixty years of age and to which I have fitted an ex-Montego Perkins Prima turbo diesel, to both annoy rivet counters and get some degree of reliability and economy from. I've been to Switzerland in it and we're off to the Czech Republic next month, assuming I get my backside in gear and have the fuel pump repaired in time.
We also have a 1985 Mini which is really my wife's but I get the honour of swearing at and donating blood to. She also has a Clio but I have about as much interest in that as I do poking my own eyeballs out.
Keep up the good work Dep-O chaps

Welcome Mr Scruff. And you must let us know how you got an old modified car into Switzerland! Or should that be 'vehicle'...
Anyway, please do post up some pix.
