DOUG LIMAN"S 2002 film of Robert Ludlum’s novel, was such a successful reinvention of the spy thriller that it made Bond look tired and predictable. They even had the temerity to use a Mini as a getaway vehicle without Michael Caine being around.

Likely anorak remark: Issigonis won't be pleased, something’s been done to that Mini’s steering column.

Worth Watching? A fast-paced chase with a big nod to 'The Italian Job', but without the comedic excesses – it’ll still make you want a Mini though.
